冬休みの日

わたしは　ふうやすみに　中国へ　かえりました。北京(Beijing)は　ニェーヨークより　さむいでした。そして、成都(Chengdu)（チェンドウ）へ　いきました。

成都は　あたたかいでした。0度(zero degree)でした。そして、友達と　温泉(Hot Spring)に　はいりました。そして、カラオケ　と　テキサスホールデムを　しました。わたしは　たくさんおかねを　失われた(lost)。5,000RMBです！

夢想！ 二十ねんごのわたし

わたしのうちは　成都 や 济南　などに　あります。たくさん　おかねが　ありますから、はたらきません。そして、まいねん　いろいろな　どころへ　いきます。

こちらは　成都です。とてもにぎやかなまちです。

成都は　パンダが　います。

成都の　たべものは　いちばん　美味しい(tasty)です。













こちらは　济南です。わたしの故郷(hometown)です。









济南は　おおきい湖(lake)が　あります。











济南は　ゆうめいな泉(spring)が　あります。






わたしは　こどもが　じゅういちにん　います。　それからこどもと、サッカーをします。まいにちスポーツを　みます。　いちねん　に　にかいに　日本へ　いきますから、わたしの日本語は　とても　すごいです。　毎晩かないと　公園を　さんぼします。それから、うちで　映画をみます。

でも、これは　幻想です。

メトロポリタン美術館

はちがつじゅうさんにちに　ともたちと　メトロポリタン美術館　へ　いきました。

I went to Metropolitan Museum of Art on August 13th with my friend. 

                  



　　　　　美術館は　とても　おもしろいですよ。
　　　　　The museum is a very interesting place.

このエジプトのスリッパは　とても　ふるいですが、はやりです。

Although this pair of slippers are very old, they are fashionable.

こちらは　ヘリオポリスの神、古代のエジプトからきました。

This is the God of Heliopolis from Ancient Egypt.

これは　日本の絵画。こちら　は　玄奘三蔵です。玄奘三蔵は　中国からきました。数千年前 彼は　にほんで　仏教を　おしえました。This is a piece of Japanese painting. The monk figure is Mr. Xuanzang, from China. He went to Japan and taught Buddhism thousands years ago.

    わたしは　仏教を信じている。

     I believe in Buddhism.

これはわたしのお気に入りです。

This is my favorite one.

メトロポリタン美術館　は　とても　おおきいから、わたしは道に迷った。

Since Metropolitan Museum of Art is so big, I got lost in there.

でも、 メトロポリタン美術館の　たべものは　あまり　あいしく　ありません。

However, the food in the museum is not so good.

わたしの冬休み！

 冬休み来る!




わたし　は　冬休み　に　ちゅうごく　へ　かえります。ニューヨーク から　北京ダック　まで　です。はははははは！

I am going back to China during this winter break. I will fly from New York to Beijing. Hahahahahaha I just can't wait!







でも、わたしの　フライト　は　 じゅうにがつ　にじゅうごにち　です。わたし　は　クリスマス に　ひこうき　で　祝うです。わたし　は　たいへんです。

But, my flight is on Christmas day. I can only celebrate Christmas on the plane... sigh..







北京ダック で　ともだち　に　あいます。わたしは　ともだち　に　歓迎 のギフト　むらいます。それから、ちゅうごくのホワイトスピリット　と　チンタオ ビール を　のみます。わたしたち　は　カラオケ　を　歌うです。

I will meet my friends in Beijing. I am expecting to receive "welcoming home" gifts from them. Then, we will drink Chinese baijiu and Qingtao beer together. Then we go to KTV to sing.

それから、ちち　と　はは　に　あいます。わたし　は　ちち　と　はは　に　ギフト　を　あげますよ。上海 と成都 へ　いきます。

Afterwards, I will reunion with my parents. I will give them the gifts I brought from U.S. We will also travel to the cities including Shanghai and Chengdu. 

ホットポット を　たべあます。わたし は　ホットポット　愛しています。

I will eat hot pot. Hot pot is my love.

誕生日！

こんしょうのげつようび　は　じゅうがつ ようかです。こんしょうのげつようび　も わたしのベストともだちの　たんじょびです。従って, せんしょうのどようびに　わたしたち　はパーティー を　しました。

This week's Monday was October 8th, which was also my best friend's birthday. Therefore, we went to have party to celebrate her birthday on last Saturday.






わたしたち　は　どようび　ごぜん　じゅうじはん　に　デバート　で　かいました。

On Saturday morning we went to shopping around 10:30.

それから、わたしたち　は　ごご　さんじ　に　Bergdorf Goodman の　high tea　を　 のみました。

Afterwards, we went to drink high tea in Bergdorf Goodman at 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

わたしたち　は　ごご　ろくじはん　に　Ai Fiori レストラン　で　ばんごはん　とケーキを　たべました。レストランすてきですね！

For dinner, we went to a restaurant called Ai Fiori at 6:30. We had our dinner and birthday cake there.
What a nice restaurant!

わたしたち　は　じゅういちはん　に　夜のクラブ　へ　いきました！　

We went to a night club to further celebrate the birthday after 11:30pm.

I didn't study at all!

Why日本語？

Why did I choose to learn Japanese?

I made this decision two days after this semester kicks off...

I speak Mandarin and English, but the desire inside my body of mastering a new language grows stronger and stronger. For a third language, I have friends who chose Spanish because they think it's useful, some picked French in order to be 'elegant', some even studied Arabic since no body else from non-Middle East regions knows it. But I decided to go with Japanese, because of a Japanese Anime: SLAM DUNK!

In a nutshell, I grew up with this basketball story. It inspired me to become a basketball player, also got  me interested in the Japanese language. Characters like さくらぎはなみち桜木花道 talk in a very loud and funny way, which sounds somewhat similar to Mandarin but different. I was trying to mimic what they say every time I watch it. Even today, If I open up one episode, this energetic and funny cartoon would still catch my full attention and make my heart beat. 

The other reason to learn Japanese is that the the way they call me: Hanさんsounds like 'Handsome', which warms my heart every time I hear this. Very sweet!

So far, I am enjoying my journey in the Japanese language and I hope one day I can talk like an native Japanese person. Yah!Cheers.
